Club Rule 11 (viii) After the expiration of one calendar month from the commencement of the Club year, no person may enjoy any membership privileges, have access to the Clubhouse or compete in any Club competition or vote at any meeting unless his or her Annual Subscription and all other charges have been paid in full.  Acceptance by the Club of a competition entry from a person prohibited under the foregoing shall not confer the right to such person to participate in such competition.

CONGU Unified Handicapping System: Players are reminded of their obligations under the above system:

Clause 8.8: “Ensure that all competition cards in Qualifying Competitions, whether or not complete, are returned to the organizing Committee, and make such computer entries as may be required.” Note: Players who continually disregard this obligation may be subject to exclusion from following competition(s).

Clause 8.12: …”In Ireland, players and clubs must report to Home Clubs: (a) All Qualifying Scores together with the relevant Competition Scratch Score. (b) All Non-Qualifying Scores from Team and Society Golf played over a course for which the Union has allotted a Standard Scratch Score together with notification of the relevant SSS.

Rules of Golf and Local Rules shall be strictly enforced.  Members should acquaint themselves with all Rules before using the course.  Members’ attention is drawn to Rule 6-7 Rules of Golf regarding slow play.

Tee Courtesy: Members are asked to strictly observe the regulation regarding starting play at the 10th hole.  i.e. play must not commence on the 10th tee unless the 9th green and fairway are clear.

During Winter, if both ‘nines’ are open, Competitors continuing their round on Saturday are required to alternate with non-competitors starting on the “non-competition” nine. Unless otherwise advised, the timesheet shall always apply to the first tee of the designated Competition course.  On Wednesdays and Sundays, non-competitors must alternate with competitors starting at the 10th hole when the “back-nine” is the designated competition course.

Course Notices: Members are expected to read and abide by course notices placed by the Greens and/or Competitions Committees.

Practising is prohibited on any part of the course other than on designated practice areas.
